Trying to revive this passion of mine

Over the last couple of years I have not been writing as regularly as I want to, but with this new revamped blog, I will try my best to write more often and hoping to get encouragement and support from readers. Thank You!

CWG Mess

Someone save India from national embarrassment! Watching the CWG officials on TV today trying to justify the mess - you know what, that was so repulsive that I want to hand them over to Taliban and encourage Taliban to go medieval on their asses!

My God, come on guys!!! It's really shameful! What could have been India's show to the world has turned out to be exactly opposite.

BTW, why the hell is India part of Commonwealth anyways! Why to we want to keep the british legacy alive? If anyone can enlighten me on that, I will appreciate....

  1. The venue was announced in 2003. Seven years is more than enough time to create wonders. But seems like some of our management were sleeping while others were busy stuffing their own pockets.Result....bridges and false ceilings falling down! Dengue, malaria, typhoid?!! I don't blame the foreigners to freak out and now reports are that many atheletes are withdrawing from the games.Good for us though....we have better chances of winning medals! If I remember correctly, Olympics host Athens were accused of mismanagement too, but everything went well. Now let's see what CWG Federation chief Mike Fennell has to say on his emergency visit to India!
And Kush.....CWG games is just to remind members that they were British colonies once, but now so called friends!
A suggestion to the high authorities of India....don't host any more games until the corrupt people involved in the CWG management this year are severely punished for bringing shame and bad name for us.

I am hoping our warm and loving welcome, care, food, colors and culture (with attitude of 'atithi devo bhava')will still leave a good impression on the guests and make the XIX CWG a success. All the best !

  2. One corrupt gang will go and another will come, cant even imagine any event getting conducted without 20% or more going to the 'select few' for placing the order.

Anyway, I am still optimistic, I think it will all end well, and these minor glitches should not be seen as signs of failure, we will get through it!

  3. Everything will be fine. It is just the negative side which they are showing. I'm sure the Games have a positive side too.
Delhi has such an ignorant CM. Watched her interview 2 days back. She said the bridge was of no use the engineers felt it should be there so it was built. The lady needs to know building a bridge costs a fortune. You just cannot say it is not a big deal.
But still I am optimistic and have a feeling that CWG will be a success and all of the negative aspects will be forgotten. Those who should be punished will be rewarded of putting up a great show :)

  4. Why are we so perturbed? What were you expecting to happen? The 'real' problem starts when a roof collapses and some athlete gets killed. Till then 'Jai Denial mode'
